We bring extensive knowledge of the International Building Code, the FEMA P-361, Safe Rooms for Tornadoes and Hurricanes: Guidance for Community and Resi-dential Safe Rooms, Third Edition (2015), the ICC 500-2014: ICC/NSSA Standard for the Design and Con-struction of Storm Shelters, the 2012 Arkansas Fire Prevention Code as well as voluntary building and construction regulations such as USGBC’s LEED 4.0 certification and GBI’s Guiding Principles Compliance certification (GPCP). 

Further, NOB A+D's design team includes an Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (ADEM) SAP - certified professional, as well as a California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) - certified professional. We have an evidence-based design certified practitoner (EDAC) on staff, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional with a Neighborhood Development specialty.
